Steve began playing the upright bass at the age of 10, and grew up playing in the orchestra and jazz band. While attending the University of New Hampshire, he studied jazz and classical music with John Hunter. Since then, he has performed with a wide array of bands spanning many musical styles. He has toured internationally with some of the top acts in the bluegrass/acoustic music world, including Laurie Lewis, Molly Tuttle, John Reischman, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, and many others. He has also taught upright and electric bass both locally and internationally at various music camps through the USA and Canada.
